One way

I fancy him
he fancies me not
I am relieved
He is working
We met
(The other day)
Our eyes met
our gazes did not
Fucking hell
As if back-end
body processes
Hit a speed bump
The breathing stopped
the body was zapped
The mind yearned
for an illicit affair
But alas
His awkward smile
My solemn acknowledgment
Of wild nights
that would have been
But the fateful night
that was
And the day after
when drunken haze
Of previous night
Had faded.
Lets give it time
he had said
I am not
emotionally equipped
He says now
I sometimes wish
He was drunk forever
And then perhaps
he would sense
my one way lust.

Instant relief

A starved body finally spake,
he did listen.
On and on he rambled,
in a drunken haze.
A monsoon road,
slight drizzle and 2 coffee cups,
later I was willing
to make him mine.
His rawness excites me,
sexually so.
Commitments? Oh please
I have outgrown them
my designs were fairly simple,
filled with lust.
You chose not to see,
and i choose not to be,
your seeker anymore.
However, the NO
came as an instant relief.
So much complexity,
i refuse to handle.
Let either intellects not be insulted!

Haboobie

I have wanted to try my hands at printmaking and was intending to do the same during my internship. Mohanty sir said patience, IDC is getting its very own etching press. True to his words the press arrived and along wit hit came a faculty from MSU baroda who gave us an awesome history of printmaking in the world context as well as the Indian context. Three days of getting hands and clothes messy with inks, kerosene, benzene and yada yada later we were all grinning from ear to ear. We were printmaking birgins no more. Thanks everyone involved!

And btw my first ever print is titled Haboobie- its the tree stump with breasts. You can find it in pics above.
