Haboobie

I have wanted to try my hands at printmaking and was intending to do the same during my internship. Mohanty sir said patience, IDC is getting its very own etching press. True to his words the press arrived and along wit hit came a faculty from MSU baroda who gave us an awesome history of printmaking in the world context as well as the Indian context. Three days of getting hands and clothes messy with inks, kerosene, benzene and yada yada later we were all grinning from ear to ear. We were printmaking birgins no more. Thanks everyone involved!

And btw my first ever print is titled Haboobie- its the tree stump with breasts. You can find it in pics above.
